As almost everyone does, I have SO many things going on in my life. But since this section is "about me," I guess you want to know about me! First and Foremost, I am a mother to two beautiful girls. My wonderful husband and I homeschool them both. He and I both teach at art and business colleges in downtown Chicago, and we own a bookstore / tutoring center. I've completed two Master Degrees, an MBA and a MHRM, and am beginning my doctorate at Chicago. I haven't yet narrowed down my topic, but it will be something in Business Psychology. Almost unbelievably, I still find time to do something I LOVE: Be in a Band. You can checkout our website for more pics and info at www.defkat.com . I have many years on the Chicago/Rockford Music Scene. I am currently planning a national tour to promote my CD. I have played for crowds ranging in size from 6 to 60,000 people. They say I'm a fairly accomplished pianist, as well. It's a cool site, and there's a ton of information on there as well, so I would love it if you would visit.
